In the past 15 years, the number of budget airlines going to Taiwan has exploded. Then COVID came around and messed everything up. Some of those low-cost carriers (LLCs) died, some survived, and some new ones have appeared on the scene since then.
Below you’ll find a list of all the cheapest flights to Taiwan, including cheap flights to Taipei (Taoyuan International Airport and Songshan Airport), Kaohsiung, and Taichung. I’ll do my best to keep the list updated, but I can’t guarantee that some flights won’t be removed or added.

List of Budget Airlines to Taipei
The below budget airlines offer the cheapest flights to Taipei. Note that some of these will require making a stop in another city, but most are direct. Some flights are also only available on certain days or seasons (read about when to visit Taiwan).
These flights are all into Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) unless I indicate “Songshan”, which means they fly into Taipei smaller city’s center airport, Songshan Airport (TSA). Read my visiting guide to Taoyuan International Airport for more info.
